Re: RANDOLPH
There are far better bilge pumps than me on here.
The feller just has not been seriously tested yet.
He should start our next match in my opinion.
But he hasn't got a performance for is under his belt that PARKESy or I can measure him on.

Re: Randolph
Made a good save with his legs rushing out against Janmaat, a low save down to his left in the second half and tipped over well towards the end.
Did everything he needed to do in a slightly busier game than Liverpool and I wouldn't have any complaints about anything he has done.
Adrian couldn't complain if he has to wait to come back.
He probably will and Randolph will play in the League Cup game at Leicester.

Re: Randolph
Very decent keeper, won't be surprised if he keeps his place after two clean sheets.

He done good.

Re: Randolph
I think hes done well in these 3 games despite shipping 4 in one, none were his fault.

Nice decision for Slav to make.

Re: Randolph
Everything he's been realistically asked to do he's done competently without fuss, Adrian just has more presence and earnt his regular spot last season so has to come back in in all fairness. Randolph an excellent back up though.

Re: Randolph
I think he's been excellent. Looks a different keeper to the one we saw in pre season.

Re: Randolph
Have been seriously impressed with his distribution, barely put a foot wrong.

Re: Randolph
Done Ok but nothing special that you wouldn't expect. He really hasn't had a lot to do the last couple of games. Thought the defence was really good yesterday and hats off to Jenkinson for putting a poor performance behind him and doing a decent job.
Adrian has to come back in but should he be needed or play in the cups then Randolph can have confidence from how he's played.

Hold my hands up on him and git to keep his place, always said Adrian is a liability and we may have fell lucky.

kicking worries me but the boy is a great shot stopper, pulled off 3 good saves

Re: Randolph
City away comes at the perfect time for him to get ruined. Adrian back for Leicester in the league cup.

Re: Randolph
Looked very solid , distribution not great but did everything that has been asked of him

Re: Randolph
Judge players in form and merit. He's doing well and hasn't conceded in the last 2 but made some saves. Nothing against Adrian but you normally wouldn't drop an in form striker for one who's just got back from suspension and this is no different, so I'd leave him in

Cue a 7-0 mauling at the etihad!

Re: Randolph
This has worked out very well. I was dreading him coming in to the team based on how nervous he looked pre season, but whilst being shielded really well by our defence in the last couple of games, he's done what he needed to do calmly and competently. This should have restored his confidence after the ropey start and the talk about getting Green back from QPR. If he can keep Adrian honest as opposed to simply being back up that would be a real bonus.

Re: Randolph
Cant see why Bilic should drop him.

Re: Randolph
It must have been tough for him with all the Rob Green speculation prior to the Bournemouth game and the constant reminders in the press how he shipped 8 goals against them previously.

Did everything that was asked of him last night. Solid saves when called upon, caught well and kicking was good. Makes a difference to a keepers confidence when the defence is solid, especially the centre backs.

As hard as it might seem, I think you have to bring your number one back when he hasn't done anything wrong previously performance wise.

Re: Randolph
He's done what he's had to. Last night he didn't have to do a lot which shows how difficult our defence is to break down.

Hammers1993 11:56 Tue Sep 15
Re: Randolph
I actually think City has come at a great time, because Randolph will feel hard done by if Bilic replaces him next game as he hasn't done anything wrong and has got 2/3 clean sheets. Like someone said the Bournemouth game I can't blame him for any of the goals.

This could work in our favour massively as Bilic will just have to say play well you keep your place, huge motivation for him to have a world class game against City! As he knows he will probably be dropped straight after if he doesn't. Because let's be honest Bilic can at least then justify by saying you conceded goals.

I just think it is a great chance for him to fight and would make him up his game, which we will need facing City in the form they are in.

Re: Randolph
After some pretty dodgy games preseason and the way it was made quite clear they didn't fancy him by publicly going after Green I think his performances have been outstanding considering........not sure if Adrian will walk back in in truth
